The high level of rain makes Lake Edward a quite wet location; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Lake William near Lake Edward, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites JASPER is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. Yellow Banks Recreation Center is a magnificent local campground, and       a perfect nearby hotel is Quality Inn Huntingburg. Lake Edward is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort is a perfect place to camp nearby; during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Jasper for sure. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Lake Edward highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's                  with temperatures at Lake Edward dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Lake Edward. This lake is so wonderful.
