 | Is there any fishing shops around Lake James?...Lake James is a great sand bottom glacial lake. Pokagen State Park borders the lake in two basins. Boat traffic is heavy on the weekends in the summer. At all other times it is great. There is much to do there in the winter as there is in the summer if you enjoy winter sports or other winter outdoor activities such as hiking, skating, cross country skiing, sledding, etc. The proximity of Pokagen State Park is a plus.... |

It's wooded, has a decent swiming area, fishing, nice playground, and the bathrooms are quite clean. Also, the people are friendly and they don't overcharge by too much in the camp store. There are badmitten, volleyball nets and horseshoe pits. I would certainly return.... |
