Three Lakes Trail
 | I have trained for ultra trail running events for 14 years by running at Morgan Monroe. I just completed three lakes and part of Low Gap Trail and Mason Ridge just this morning and, as always, had a wonderful run. No matter how many times I have run the trails of Morgan Monroe it always is as enjoyable as the first time all those years ago. Try this place for yourself. you'll find that it is a very special 24,000 acres!...Your site indicates that the nearest metro area to Three Lakes Trail in Morgan-Monroe State Forest in Bedford. This is incorrect. The nearest metro area is Bloomington, which is a larger town that Bedford and home to several other nearby trails. You actually have to travel through Bloomington to reach Bedford from the Morgan-Monroe State Forest. For more information on Bloomington and the outdoor activities located nearby, check out www.visitbloomington.com.

Lamb Lake
 | I would love to see pictures of camp grounds in my area. GreenAcres in Martisnville, and Lamb Lake in Monroe.... |
Earlham Lake
 | 11 miles away I think this lake is private, my wife and I drove all over it and could not find any public places to fish... |
Hren Lake
 | 17 miles away I plan to visit the area in May, I was just wondering if there was a way to visit the entire property. My father and grandfather actually built the two lakes; my father passed away last year which brought up many emotions. My brother and I are planning a one day holiday to once again view the splendor of the lakes we once spent hours hiking around, fishing in and swimming in as children. I look forward to hearing from you. We do have a few pictures of the large lakes construction, however I don't have them with me or I would email them as part of the history.... |
