John Hays Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Visit Lick Creek while you're here at John Hays Lake, and Delaney Park is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. This is a wonderful neighborhood for folks who like lakes.
