Boat traffic is heavy on the weekends in the summer. At all other times it is great. There is much to do there in the winter as there is in the summer if you enjoy winter sports or other winter outdoor activities such as hiking, skating, cross country skiing, sledding, etc. The proximity of Pokagen State Park is a plus.
