From a rainfall point of view Hindman Lake is a pretty common location; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is January. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Hindman Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Hindman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pioneer Trails Camp is a splendid site for that; if you need a spot to stay Kimmell       Inn is a brilliant choice. There's some flowing water close by, Piper Branch is a stream you can pop by while here; Fisherman Cove Resort is a pleasant location to get some rest. If you came to camp Cottonwood Campground is a fine place to do that, and Baugher Lake is a delightful lake nearby. High temperatures at Hindman Lake through the summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are usually in the                  30's while the cold winter nights at Hindman Lake are in the 10's.
