This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Indian Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, McCormick's Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mill Creek. Summertime highs at Henke Lake usually tend to be       in the 80's; the overnight is rather cooler of course, generally in the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Henke Lake tend to be in the 10's. There's so much to do here at Henke Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hickory Hills Campground is a splendid site for that, and Rolling Meadows Golf Course is a golf course nearby. There are plenty of people from Bloomington here                  at Henke Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Henke Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wheeler Mission Campground. Henke Lake gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. So many cool things to do here at Henke Lake, too pleasant to be true. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Bloomington is a great spot to spend a night or two, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Three Lakes Trail.
