You're most likely interested in lakes, Norton Lake is one of those close by, and naturally Turkey Creek is a scenic stream that is worth a visit. Through the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Goshen Pond, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Goshen Pond dipping down into the 10's during       winter nights. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Inn is a splendid choice, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Christiana Creek. Swiss Valley is a very popular ski area close at hand, and camping at Absa Of Indiana Campground is always a tremendous experience. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Nearby lakes? Sure, Goshen Dam Pond is next to Goshen Pond; there's always Goshen Pond Dam to stop at in the neighborhood of Goshen                  Pond. Goshen Pond is a good spot of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Goshen Travelodge; if you came to camp Twin Pines Mobile Home Park is a splendid spot to do that. You'll meet a lot of folks from Elkhart-Goshen here, and Black Squirrel Golf Club is a pleasant golf course nearby.
