From a precipitation point of view Giboney Lake is a reasonably typical place; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Giboney Lake is not far at all from New Castle, and some close by water       includes Baker Branch. Stay the night at Westwood Park; after a long day outdoors Raintree Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. At Giboney Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Giboney Lake. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because American Legion Golf Course is in close proximity. There's                  so much to do here at Giboney Lake that you need to camp here for a while, San/d/beach Campgrounds is a perfect place for that.
