The high level of rain makes Franke Lake a rather wet spot; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.       This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to come across some nice people from Scottsburg here, and Ohio River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. But wait, there's more to do next to Franke Lake. Take a side spree to Bull Run, and Franke Lake Dam is a beautiful place.
