Farm Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Indian Oaks Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and McCormick's Creek       has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Farm Pond gets a good deal of water; throughout July this area sees the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. Do pop by Timber Ridge Lake next to Farm Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and Hickory Hills Campground is a good local campground. Farm Pond Dam is a wonderful location in the vicinity of Farm Pond, and people from Bloomington love to come here.
