A good nearby hotel is Best Western Expressway Inn, and Lake Eliza is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp is a splendid place to camp nearby. Candy Stripe Camp Site is a glorious local campground, and Lake Eliza is not the only place close by, Big Bass Lake is a close by lake. Summer at Lake Eliza comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the       night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Lake Eliza tend to be in the 10's. So much entertaining stuff to do at Lake Eliza, so little time. Visiting Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. If you get bored of Lake Eliza, you could also visit close by Norman Olson Lake; fine water scenery is available at Norman Olson Lake Dam                  next to Lake Eliza. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hebron/Lowell Area is a pleasant choice, and while you're here you can play some golf at Creekside Golf Course and Training Center.
