  Deep Cut Lake is a spot with many visitors from Shoals. There's so much to do here at Deep Cut Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Martin State Forest is a glorious place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Head out on the delightful water at Patoka Station, and Deep Cut Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Elk Ridge Resort is a great local campground.
A magnificent close by hotel is West Baden Springs Hotel, and do put some time
    aside to spend at Tank Spring since you're here at Deep Cut Lake. Take some time to visit Martin State Forest since you're here, and Spring Mill State Park is a perfect site to go to.
