     Cory Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Family Campground is a delightful local campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Riverside Lake. Through the summertime at Cory Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's  
   to Cory Lake. The yearly rain here at Cory Lake is about average; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express RENSSELAER is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Watseka is a great choice.
Camping at Isle Campground is always a tremendous experience. Lakes? Sure, Mirror Lake is close by.

Shore fishing was great for me this year. I went fishing two weeks straight(excluding Sun). I caught at least two bass per day on one type of bait. 10.5 in. zoom ribbontail worm/black. Each bass weighed at least 1.5lbs. one bass weighed 2lbs and one weighed 2.5lbs...I caught three lg mouth back to back swimming a football jig with crayfish trailer. Good lake to fish if you have a boat or paddleboat. Not the best from the bank. Limited spots to fish....
