From a rainfall point of view Colonial Pond is a reasonably typical place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Pipe Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Rochester. There are other sites here than Colonial Pond, for example Lake Manitou. Mississinewa Campground is a glorious       campground here, and Colonial Pond is not far at all from Peru. Through the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Colonial Pond. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Colonial Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
