Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Charles. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; night lows during the winter for Lake Charles tend to be in the 10's. Take a look at nearby Cowles Bog. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake Charles you locate       a golf course called Brassie Golf Club; dry warm beds await you at Springhouse Inn. Peterson Ditch is in the neighborhood of Lake Charles and is always a pleasure to pop by; Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is one of the destinations that are great to explore close by. The yearly rainfall here at Lake Charles is about average; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February.
