There's so much to do here at Carr Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crooked Creek Campground is a brilliant site for that. Not far from Carr Lake, you'll discover Read Lake which is a lovely lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Carr Lake has to offer, you can camp at Naomi Cain's Lake Breeze. There are other sites here than Carr Lake,       for example Muskellunge Lake; swing by Trimble Creek it's a perfect place to stop by. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Carr Lake get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's.
