A splendid site to camp here at Carlson Pond is Sand Creek Campground; for you golfers we recommend nearby Mink Lake Golf Course. Throughout the months of summer at Carlson Pond highs are generally in the 80's,       and the night is quite colder of course, mostly in the 60's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Carlson Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. Super 8 Valparaiso is a nice place to get some rest. So much cool stuff close to Carlson Pond, definitely phenomenal. A perfect spot to go to near Carlson Pond is Hungry Hollow, and camping is available at Mink Lake.
