     Do stop at Miller Lake close to Broomsage Lake, it's a delightful lake; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn North Vernon is a great place to spend a night or two. The yearly precipitation here at Broomsage Lake is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. During the warmest time of the year at Broomsage Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend  
   down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Broomsage Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. So much enjoyable stuff close to Broomsage Lake, absolutely mind-blowing. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Madison, and if you come at the right time of year, Sand Creek - Cobbs Fork offers some good whitewater.

               came for an overnight stay Green Meadow Flea Market is a brilliant place to camp. A charming lake like Gaylord Stark Lake close to Broomsage Lake is a splendid place to pop by; you'll in all probability meet some folks from North Vernon here.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Broomsage Ranch Lake Dam, and why not camp at Broomsage Ranch while you're here at Broomsage Lake.
