The amount of rain that falls at Billington Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Through the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Billington Lake while overnight       lows are typically in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are regularly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Billington Lake. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Billington Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Billington Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mink Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Michigan City-La Porte here. For you golfers we recommend close                  by Mink Lake Golf Course, and Morgan Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. Billington Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Sand Creek Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby; why not a little side tour to Sand Creek.
