There's so much to do here at Bartmess Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scenic Campground is a nice site for that. An attention-grabbing thing to pop by near Bartmess Lake is Bartmess Lake Dam, and an afternoon playing golf at Grand Oak Golf Club is always a diversion. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Great Miami River, and       there are pleasant places to discover along the Blue Heron Hiking Trail. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites HARRISON is a good place to spend a night or two, and a beautiful lake like Souders Lake is a great site to explore. At Bartmess Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, usually in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 30's, and all through                  the dark hours in the winter at Bartmess Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Phillips Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Woodside Lake. Bartmess Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is usually the driest month. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bartmess Lake has to offer, you can camp at Higher Ground Camping Center; close by you hit upon the West Shore Trail which is a great hiking trail. This site is unbeatable, just check out all the entertaining things to do close to Bartmess Lake.
