This lake is so wonderful. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Burr Oak Pond is a lake in the neighborhood, and a nice close by hotel is Hotel Clemens Hannibal. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Willow Pond. There's so much to do here at Willow Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mark Twain Cave       is a wonderful site for that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Willow Pond has to offer, you can camp at Injun Joe Campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Pin Oak Lake. Willow Pond Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and Best Western On the River is a good spot to get some rest. Summertime highs at Willow Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights                  temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Willow Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's.
