In Illinois there are many beautiful lakes, Willow Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Willow Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Lakes Resort is a wonderful local campground; there are great places to look at along the Prairie Bluff Trail. | | to be in the 80's; the night is a little colder of course, mostly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Willow Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.

Pond is a reasonably typical place; during the month of September you get the most rain around here; the driest month is January.
Dry warm beds await you at Sprague's Kinderhook Lodge; there's nice hiking along the Red Oak Backpack
Trail. A pleasant spot to camp here at Willow Pond is Oak Ridge Campground, and don't leave Willow Pond without first going for a hike along the Crabapple Trail.
