Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bear Branch; why not pop by nearby Goose Creek if you're here at Whoople Cat Lake. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Do have a look at Lake Tacumseh close to Whoople Cat Lake, it's a pretty lake. Throughout the warm days of summer at Whoople Cat Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's while night lows are frequently       in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for Whoople Cat Lake tend to be in the 20's. Very great water scenery is available at Whoopie Cat Dam next to Whoople Cat Lake; a wonderful spot to camp here at Whoople Cat Lake is Birdsville RV and Campground.
