A visit to Victoria Lake is always a good idea. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Turtle Creek, and why not camp at Turtle Creek Campsite while you're here at Victoria Lake. From a rainfall point of view Victoria Lake is a rather common spot; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.

You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Pearl Lake is one of those close by, and after a long day outdoors The Beloit Inn is a nice spot to spend a night or two.
