Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things close to Turner Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Richmond is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and you're in all probability into lakes, Mud Lake is one of those close by. Good hiking is available along the Tamarack View       Trail; you can stay the night at Grass Lake Marina and RV Park. A common amount of rain falls here at Turner Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. During the warm days of summer highs here at Turner Lake get into the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Turner                  Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The slopes of Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) are so inviting noone can resist, and there are plenty of people from Racine here at Turner Lake. You have to stop at Jackson Bay when you're here at Turner Lake, and whitewater paddling is great on White River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Turner Lake; Volo Bog Interpretive Trail is a great local trail; Island On The Chain RV Park is a good campground nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail. Lakes are wonderful; Dunns Lake is a lake that's close to Turner Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
