Big Oak Campground is a tremendous campground here, and the view of Lookout Rocks is wonderful. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Turkey Bayou. Paddling on Piney Branch River is so much fun; if you want to take a look at some out of the ordinary stuff, take a look at Chalk Bluff. At Turkey Bayou during the summer highs are in the 90's, and all through the       night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows at Turkey Bayou through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 10's. Get drenched paddling on Little Grassy Creek, and if you need a place to stay Apple Tree Inn is a tremendous choice. If you came for an overnight stay Turkey Bayou Campground is a delightful spot to camp. A wonderful spot to stop by near Turkey Bayou is Bolton Camp Hollow; Super                  8 Motel is a splendid location to get some rest. Turkey Bayou is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
