There's so much to do here at Trautman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tincup Campers Park is a wonderful site for that, and a golf course nearby is Champaign County Forest Preserve District Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Trautman Lake, you could also stop by beautiful Spring Lake, and Microtel Inn Champaign is a great       site to get some rest. Summertime at Trautman Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Trautman Lake descend into the 10's.
