This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Tilden Campground is a good spot to camp, and City Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. You can take a little tour to Lake Coulterville Dam since you're here at The Lake, and you can run       the rapids of Piney Branch River. The Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest of the months is January. Lake Campalot is a wonderful campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Okawville. For the duration of the summer months highs here at The Lake reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the                  30's with temperatures at The Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
