Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Teal Pond. There's whitewater on Lusk Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and Redbud Campground is a delightful local campground. The warmest time of the year at Teal Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's.       Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows at Teal Pond all through the winter generally fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Bear Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Near Teal Pond you stumble on the River to River Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Burden Falls is an inspiring place to stop by while you're here. Hill Branch is a glorious place                  to stop by; if you've had enough of Teal Pond, Barger Lake is close by. Going for a hike on the River to River Trail is always a good adventure, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Harrisburg is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two.
