Lake Tacumseh usually gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Tacumseh has to offer, you can camp at Pine Ridge Campground; Lake Tacumseh is a spot with many visitors from Harrisburg. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super       8 Motel - Harrisburg is a tremendous location to spend a night or two; Lake Tacumseh is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Birdsville RV and Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. There are great sites to explore along the River to River Trail, and Whoopie Cat Dam is scenic. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Harrisburg, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if                  it's for you then, we recommend Lusk Creek. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Bear Branch, and Whoopie Cat Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Lake Tacumseh, you could also visit close by Whoople Cat Lake, and why not take a little trip to Goose Creek if you're here. The warmest time of the year at Lake Tacumseh arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's.
