This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Lake Tacumseh, you could pop by Goose Creek; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Harrisburg is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. Lake Tacumseh sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. But wait, there's more to do in close       proximity to Lake Tacumseh. Lakes? Sure, Whoopie Cat Lake is close at hand, and Bear Branch is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. Lake Tacumseh is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Ridge Campground is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Harrisburg. Lots of people from Harrisburg come to Lake Tacumseh, and Whoopie Cat Dam is beautiful. At Lake Tacumseh through the summer months highs are in the 90's, and the night                  is quite colder of course, mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Tacumseh fall into the 20's. Hiking along the River to River Trail is good fun. There's so much to do here at Lake Tacumseh that you need to camp here for a while, Birdsville RV and Campground is a splendid spot for that.
