Throughout the months of summer at Lake Sunset highs are generally in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Sunset dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Bass Lake Dam, and Lake Sunset is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Mendota Hills Campground is a nice spot to camp                  nearby. Bass Lake is a glorious lake in close proximity to Lake Sunset; Lake Sunset is not far at all from Dixon. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Sunset.
