This lake is so wonderful. Sun Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Schaul Country Lakes is a great local campground, and since you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Antioch Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Pike River is a great whitewater spot near       Sun Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Tamarack View Trail. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Sun Lake; through August this area sees the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Be careful coming to Sun Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Comfort Suites Grayslake is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and Cedar Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. A glorious close by hotel is Comfort                  Inn & Suites Antioch, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail. Camping at Old Port Cove Marina is always a delightful experience; during your visit here you'll meet some people from Racine for sure. On a fine day at Sun Lake you can take a hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail, and the snow is tremendous at Wilmot mountain. Summertime highs at Sun Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's.
