You have to have a look at Myers Bay when you're here at Sullivan Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Mchenry. There are swamps       here too; Volo Bog is in close proximity, and a lake close by is Pistakee Lake. Whitewater paddling is good on White River. If the weather is splendid here at Sullivan Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail; Lakemoor Golf Club is a good golf course close by. Now, you may                  assume that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Sullivan Lake. Going for a hike along the Tamarack View Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing). This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail is splendid fun; if you came for an overnight stay Fish Lake Beach is a nice location to camp. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Chicago-Crystal Lake, Il is a magnificent choice, and if you get bored of Sullivan Lake you could also go to close by Lily Lake.
