Little Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Campalot is a fine place to camp. This place, Stump Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. High temperatures at Stump Pond all through the summer are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 30's with       winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Stump Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Super 8 Pinckneyville, and if you're here, you could also take a look at gorgeous Boulder Lake. Why not camp at Sharp Rock Falls Rec since you're here at Stump Pond; if you come at the right time of year, Piney Branch River offers some wonderful whitewater.
