Parkmans Plain is a great place here at Starved Rock Pool, and get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Bailey Creek. High temperatures at Starved Rock Pool during the summertime are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at Starved Rock Pool all through the wintertime frequently fall into the 10's. This lake       is so wonderful. Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort is a great place to get some rest, and the summit of Starved Rock can be observed from Starved Rock Pool. If you get bored of Starved Rock Pool, you could also visit close by Deer Park Lake, and Starved Rock Pool is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lasalle/Peru KOA is a great local campground. Camping at Utica Koa Kampground is always a fine experience; Starved Rock Pool is a place with many visitors                  from Ottawa-Streator. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to go to some attention-grabbing stuff, go to Horseshoe Bend; it's a fine idea to stop at Clark Run. Dry warm beds await you at Oglesby-Days Inn; Starved Rock Lock and Dam is a charming place. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Starved Rock Pool. Nearby Aurora Canyon is a splendid place to go if you're at Starved Rock Pool, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Vermilion River.
