at Starved Rock Lock and Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Starved Rock Pool without first checking out Horseshoe Bend, and you might also want to pay a visit to Aurora Canyon while you're here at Starved Rock Pool. During
the warmest time of the year here at Starved Rock Pool, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Starved Rock Pool temperatures plunge to the 10's.
