This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. At Stark Pond you always meet someone from Bloomington-Normal. Why not stop by close by Sixmile Creek while you're here at Stark Pond, and Evergreen Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Stark Pond is a good place of normal rainfall; most of the rain falls all through July while January is the month with the least amount       of precipitation. If you need a spot to stay El Paso-Days Inn is a pleasant choice. There's so much to do here at Stark Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bloomington-Carlock KOA is a great place for that. For you golfers we recommend nearby Fairlakes Golf Course, and Stark Pond Dam has good water scenery. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Stark Pond reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.                  Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Stark Pond.
