There's so much to do here at Spring Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Oaks Campgrounds is a good place for that. If you need a location to stay Quincy - Days Inn is a great choice, and Cedar Crest Country Club is a brilliant golf course nearby. Spring Lake is a good place of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is July while February is the month with the least amount       of precipitation. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Don't leave Spring Lake without first paying a visit to Homan Falls. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Spring Lake has to offer, you can camp at Valley View Mobile Home Park. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Bear Creek is a stream you can go to while here, naturally you could also stop at Goose Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Microtel                  Quincy is a great place to get some rest, and there are some great whitewater spots on Bear Creek. You'll meet a lot of folks from Quincy here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cedar Creek. For the period of the summertime, highs frequently are in the 80's at Spring Lake.
