Why not stop by South Pond if you're passing through these parts. Ogden Slip is a swamp near South Pond, and Joy Of The Game is a fine campground nearby. There's some flowing water nearby, Chicago River is a stream you can explore during your stay; you can spend the day on the beach at Fullerton Beach. South Lagoon is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and a day at pretty North Avenue Beach right next door to South Pond is a wonderful thing to do.

| | This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at South Pond, do take a journey to Belmont Harbor, and there are plenty of folks from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet here. Any time is a wonderful time at South Pond if you like the outdoors. If you get bored of South Pond, you could also check out nearby North Pond, and if you need a place to stay The Belden-Stratford Hotel is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. is a splendid place close to South Pond. Summertime highs at South Pond generally tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the
winter at South Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. South Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August; February meanwhile is the driest month. South Pond is close to Shore Arm Breakwater which is a wonderful spot positively worth a visit, and dry warm beds await you at Eugenie Terrace.
