Comfort Suites Grayslake is a pleasant site to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Lake Defiance Nature Trail is always a pleasant adventure. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Slough Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Daytime highs during       the wintertime are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Slough Lake. Slough Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Fox River Recreation is a great spot to camp nearby; you'll find a scenic lake called Miltmore Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Slough Lake called the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail, and Schaul Country Lakes is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit                  Sand Lake in the neighborhood of Slough Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and there's always Lake Linden Dam to pop by near Slough Lake. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Renwood Golf Course is in the vicinity, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites Antioch. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Slough Lake rules! Slough Lake is a location with many visitors from Racine; get yourself into a kayak and hit Pike River. The skiing at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) is great.
