Sims Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Get soaked paddling on Fall Creek, and Harrell Lake South is a delightful lake nearby. Holiday Inn QUINCY is a perfect place to get some rest; if you came to camp Pine Grove Campground is a delightful place to       do that. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Deer Run Trail, also Sims Pond Dam is worth visiting if you're here. Near Sims Pond you hit upon the Prairie Bluff Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Sims Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Oak Ridge Campground is a nice site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Sims Pond. Lakes are                  such calm locations, why not explore Harrell Lake North close to Sims Pond; dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn Quincy. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Sims Pond with nighttime lows in the 60's.
