The slopes of Wilmot mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and splendid water scenery is available at Lake Linden Dam next to Sand Lake. Going for a hike along the Tamarack View Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and you can run the rapids of Pike River. This lake is so wonderful. spot to do that. The Lake Defiance Nature Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Sand Lake. There's so much to do here at Sand Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Schaul Country Lakes is a glorious place for that.
A beautiful lake like Slough Lake in the vicinity of Sand Lake is a great place to go to. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sand Lake has to offer, you can camp at Fox River Recreation. This lake is so wonderful.
You'll hit upon a gorgeous lake called Lake Linden near Sand Lake, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail. For the period of the summertime here at Sand Lake, high temperatures usually
reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Sand Lake are in the 0's.
