The beauty of Ruth Lake attracts many people from all around. Ruth Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, A-ok Campgrounds Of Frankfort is a great location to camp nearby; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Villa Olivia. From a rainfall point of view Ruth Lake is a relatively normal location; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.

Lots of folks from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet come to Ruth Lake; Windy City Campground is a good local campground. High temperatures at Ruth Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 60's.
