Rogers Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Bayview Camper's Park is a perfect local campground; Possum Hollow is another magnificent place to take a look at nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Rogers Lake is not far at all from Quincy. There are some great whitewater spots on Cedar Creek, and it's a perfect idea to pop by Eagle Slough. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Rogers Lake get into the 80's.

| | Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Rogers Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Circle Pond is a good lake near Rogers Lake, and why not stop by Mayer Pond Dam if you're here. Fall Creek Settling Basin is a pleasant spot to stretch your legs a bit, and if you come at the right time of year, Fall Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. A typical amount | |

location to camp nearby, and if you need a site to stay Hannibal Super 8 Motel is a great choice. This place, Rogers Lake, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. There are other places here than Rogers Lake, for example Mayer Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Hannibal Travelodge.

 | 13 miles away 1 PHOTO In response to keith's note. I've kayaked Cedar Creek several times. During heavy rain events the creek is VERY wild. And while yes it is bony, it's a fun ride.. especially since it's one of the only places to get above a class II ride around quincy. Additionally, DO NOT go to bear creek unless you plan on doing some flat water near where it meets the mississippi river. Any further upstream and you'll be dealing with hostile landowners who aren't aware of the navigability laws in illinois. You'll probably be met by a sherrif on the take out.
