Pearl Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; lots of people from Rockford come here. Rock River gets a typical amount of yearly rain; July is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. During the summer months at Rock River temperatures are usually in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours       it's generally in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Rock River temperatures drop to the 0's. Hulland Spring is a good local attraction, and close by you'll discover a wooded area called Macktown County Forest Preserve. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Rock River, you could also explore stunning Victoria Lake. There's so much to do here at Rock River that you need to camp here for                  a while, Pearl Lake Supper Club is a pleasant place for that. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Turtle Creek. But wait, there's more to do near Rock River.
