If you are in this part of Illinois make sure to pay a visit to Redhead Lake. | | in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Redhead Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.

Nature Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and Fish Lake Beach is a tremendous local campground. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Redhead Lake. White River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by.
This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Pistakee Lake, and Lakemoor Golf Club is a golf course nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Alfred Keil is a wonderful place to camp, and skiing at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding
only - no skiing) is one of those things you just must do. Redhead Lake is not the only location nearby, Sullivan Lake is a nearby lake, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a glorious location to get some rest.
You'll wish for more hours
in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Redhead Lake. At Redhead Lake you can observe Bald Knob; why not a little side trip to Nippersink Creek. A typical amount of rain falls here at Redhead Lake; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month.
