If you come at the right time of year, Lusk Creek offers some perfect whitewater; there are plenty of folks from Harrisburg here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Harrisburg is a wonderful choice, and a lake close by is Grindstaff Hollow Club Lake. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just       come on down to Pounds Lake. While you're here at Pounds Lake you can take a hike along the River to River Trail, and if you desire a little side spree, try Clayton Hollow. Pounds Lake is a wet location that gets much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. High temperatures at Pounds Lake through the days of summer are in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently                  in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; overnight lows at Pounds Lake throughout the winter typically dip into the 20's. Hiking along the Beaver Trail is delightful fun, and tremendous water scenery is available at Pounds Hollow Dam in the neighborhood of Pounds Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Pounds Escarpment is an out of the ordinary place to visit while at Pounds Lake, and Pounds Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Double M Campground is a good local campground. Pounds Lake is not the only place nearby, Schneider Pond is a nearby lake.
