Why not take a refreshing hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail, and there's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at Lake Linden Dam right next door to Lake Potomac. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Potomac; Tamarack View Trail is a delightful local trail, and while you're here you can play some golf at Renwood Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Potomac is right by the Lake Defiance Nature Trail, and the snow is glorious at Raging Buffalo

| | Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing). This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Wilmot mountain; a gorgeous lake like Lake Linden is a great place to take a look at. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Potomac. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Lake Potomac tend to be in the 0's. | |

This site rocks, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in close proximity to Lake Potomac. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites Antioch is a glorious location to spend a night or two; drift down the rapids of Pike
River in a kayak. From a rain point of view Lake Potomac is a pretty common place; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Why not camp at Fox River
Recreation if you're here at Lake Potomac, and if you're here, you could stop by Hastings Creek. Comfort Suites Grayslake is a good place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Schaul Country Lakes is a nice site
to camp. Any time is a wonderful time at Lake Potomac if you adore the outdoors. You're sure to come across some friendly people from Racine here; Waterford Lake is a brilliant lake close by.
