Summertime highs at Plum Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Plum Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Du Quoin is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and you can run the rapids of Piney Branch River.
