Bluff Lake is in close proximity, and hey, Gotta ski right? Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) is a pleasant place to do that. The amount of rainfall that falls at Petite Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Suites Grayslake       is a delightful site to get some rest; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of White River. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites Antioch is a brilliant choice, and taking a little trip to close by Columbia Bay is a great idea. Summertime highs at Petite Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Petite Lake dipping down into the 0's                  during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Lake Defiance Nature Trail, and camping at Grass Lake Marina and RV Park is always a great experience. Going for a hike on the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and a golf course close by is Antioch Golf Club. Petite Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Old Port Cove Marina is a splendid local campground. Be careful coming to Petite Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. The slopes of Wilmot mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and close by you hit upon the Tamarack View Trail which is a great hiking trail.
